Academy Program
Kindergarden - 3rd Grade
- Once a week practice
- Saturday Games (in fall & spring season)
- Multiple practice locations, days
and times available- register for which works best for you (limited openings)
The objective of our Academy is to create a positive, supportive environment where young players can develop their technical skills, confidence, and love for the game. We focus on nurturing peer socialization, sportsmanship, and creativity, helping each player build coordination and passion for soccer.
During our Fall & Spring Season, in addition to weekly practices, players will participate in Saturday games within one of two leagues: Youth League and Select League. Academy practices are co-ed and will include both Youth and Select League players, all coached by our experienced staff.
Youth League
The Youth League is perfect for a wide range of ages and skill levels. Whether your child is new to soccer or has some experience, this league offers a fun and flexible way to play. It’s especially great for multi-sport athletes who need flexible scheduling and for players who want to focus on learning the game in a stress-free/fun environment.
U6- Kindergarten/U7-1st Grade – Flexible and Fun:
Each Saturday, players are randomly assigned to teams based on factors like experience, athleticism, and any friend requests. Our coaching staff ensures teams are balanced, creating an enjoyable and fair game for everyone. If a player is either overwhelmed or dominating, we move them to another field that better suits their level of play.
U8/U9 – Set Teams for a Structured Experience:
Players are assigned to teams based on their practice location and requests. While we strive to keep players from the same practice location together, some teams may include players from multiple locations (so you can request friends from other academy practices on your team)!
Uniforms: Youth League Players will need a Home Kit Uniform (available to purchase during registration)- uniforms are same as the 25/26 Season, so if you already have a uniform you can opt out of purchasing a new one!
Select League
The Select League is designed for players with some experience who are looking for a more traditional soccer game and passionate about learning the rules and growing their skills. This league is where many of our competitive NBFC players start and will prepare them for future competitive play.
Team Assignments: Players are assigned to specific teams for Saturday games.
Flexible Practices: While players are on a set team, they still have the flexibility to choose which days, times, and locations they want to attend for their Academy practices throughout the week.
Parent Volunteers: Each team will have a parent volunteer who will act as the game day coach. Additionally, parent volunteers can organize extra team practices during the week or before games if they choose to enhance their team’s development.
Refereeing: All games will be officiated by School of Soccer staff to maintain a high level of consistency and professionalism during the games.
Uniforms: Select Players will need both a Home & Away Kit (available to purchase during registration)- uniforms are same as the 25/26 Season.
