School of Soccer Classes for Ages 2-5

Age 2-3 Classes

These classes are designed for players age 2-3.5 and are our toddler development program. We aim to instill the love of soccer at an early age. We use a variety of fun games to develop balance, movement, motor skills, and fundamental soccer techniques with the ball. Parents, our Staff Coaches will need help with certain activities, so be prepared to have fun on the field with your kiddos! There are no official games for this age group. You will play once a week at the day/time/location you register for. $15 T-shirts can be purchased at registration but not required and handed out by your coach. These classes are 45 minutes of FUN! 

Age 3-5 Classes

These classes are designed for ages 3.5-5 year olds and is the foundation of our school. We incorporate a wide array of games and activities that encourage young athletes to gradually develop proper techniques for striking, dribbling, and receiving a soccer ball. Coaches incorporate a variety of imaginative soccer themed games and activities with tons of running and social interaction (no standing around in lines with these active classes). There are no league games for this age group. You will play once a week at the day/time/location you register for. $15 T-shirts can be purchased at registration but not required. Shirts will handed out by your coach. These classes are 45 minutes of FUN!

School of Soccer U6 - U9 Academy 

U6/U7 (for soccer players born in 2019 & 2018)

U8/U9 (for soccer players born in 2017 & 2016)

The objective for our Academy is to foster a positive learning environment that nurtures peer socialization, sportsmanship, and creativity. The curriculum is designed to produce players that have sound technical skills, confidence, coordination, and a passion for the beautiful game. In addition to your child’s weekly practice schedule there will also be games held on Saturdays in one of two leagues (Youth League, Select League). Academy practices will include co-ed players from both youth and select league and coached by our staff coaches. 

Youth League: For Beginners & Experienced players ages U6 - U9

The Youth League format is well suited for a wide range of ages and experience levels. From beginners that are just picking up the sport to experienced players who love to play but prefer to participate in league format that offers flexible attendance on game days (great for multi-sport athletes that are juggling busy schedules). Youth League players will register for an Academy practice during the week and choose the time/location/day that works best for you.

u6/u7- Our u6/u7 teams are randomized each Saturday by the coaching staff at start time. A variety of factors are put into consideration by the coaching staff when dividing the player into groups each game day (friend requests, experience, athleticism) but the ultimate objective is to create parity on every field. If a player is overwhelmed or dominating in the group that they are assigned to then we simply move them over to a new field that matches their level of play. The u6/u7 participants are assigned a specific start time and location for games on Saturdays based off of their age division and gender.
u8/u9- Our u8/u9 players are put on set teams and teams are based on practice location and requests. Games are coached/reffed by a Staff Coach on the field. 

Select League: Ideal for experienced/competitive minded players

The Select League format is well suited for experienced players that are passionate and confident on the field of play. Players are assigned to a specific team roster for Select League games on Saturdays but are still free to choose which days/times/locations they’d like to attend Academy practice at during the week with our staff coaches. We require a higher commitment level on game day attendance for players that participate in the Select League due to each team having a limited number of available players assigned to each roster. Every team will have a parent volunteer game day coach and parent volunteers can organize a separate team practice during the week or before the game if they choose. Games will be reffed by School Of Soccer Staff.

School of Soccer u10/u13 Practice & Play
(players born in 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012)

Our u10-u13 Practice & Play format is well suited for a wide range of ages and experience levels. From beginners that are just picking up the sport to experienced players who love to play (great for multi-sport athletes that are juggling busy schedules). Players will be placed on co-ed teams and  practice  on Fridays at Sunset Park at 5:30pm, with games immediately following practices. There are no Saturday games with this division.

School of Soccer's North Boise Futbol Club

North Boise FC, our competitive branch of our club, has 24 teams from u9-u16 playing in IYSA's D3 league.
