u8/u9 Academy (Born in 2017 & 2016)

2024 FALL u8-u9 (2017 & 2016) Academy

For players born in the year 2017 (u8) & 2016 (u9).

U8/U9 Academy players will practice once per week at the location/time you register for with one of our School of Soccer Staff Coaches for 6 weeks. These high energy training sessions are focused around fitness, fun, and developing individual technical skills with the ball. Academy practices run approximately 75 min. In addition to weekly practice day, players will participate in a total of 6 games held on Saturdays at Camel’s Back Park. Game times will be announced the first week of practices. We have two leagues within the Academy -the Youth League & Select League.

Youth League (for beginner and experienced players)

u8/u9 players will be have rostered teams (we will try to keep players from the same academy practices together but cannot guarantee). Players will have fun in their soccer games while working on their skills with a staff coach on the field.

Select League (for experienced/competitive minded players)

The Select League is a great fit for players looking for the next step in their soccer careers. Due to smaller rosters we require a high level of commitment for this league. Players will still practice once a week at the Academy practice you register for with our School of Soccer Staff, but also will have an optional 2nd practice one time a week with their team lead by a parent volunteer coach (if the coach/team chooses) and optional extra training with NBFC . Select Season registration closes when team rosters fill- so register early to confirm your spot.

Fall 2024 Saturday Games: 9/21, 28. 10/5, 10/12, 10/19 & 10/26

Uniforms: Home Kit Uniforms will be available to purchase DURING registration. Both Select & Youth League players wear the Home Kit. Select League Players will be required to purchase the Away Kit as well. Uniforms are new this season (these will be our uniforms moving forward).
